Six ancient, hand carved gate posts, still standing on the route of the 1826 weavers’ uprising march, the stone posts mark the threshold of the industrial era.

The images, printed in black ink on extremely smooth black paper operate at the threshold of visibility, appearing and disappearing with the movement of light and of the viewer.
