The works in the Organics series are taken with a 1966 Ricoh SuperShot 24 35mm film camera.

The focus system for the camera requires adjusting a diamond shape in the viewfinder until it is roughly the size of a human head at the required point of focus.

The camera had not been used for many years and it was not clear whether the images would be useable.

These images were selected for the Swanfall | Fables exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London and were subsequently prize winners at Bury Art Museum OPEN, both 2025.
